Elegoo PLA
Why I like it:
I have always had good luck with the Elegoo PLA. I also like that it is on cardboard spools.
microUSB Cord
These are the ones I used in the video. You will need 4 of them.
Requires additional work to install my guide does not cover, but avoids balancing and BMS issues.

This is the battery I would recommend now. It has everything you need and is simple. Watch my new video for more details on installation
A decent new lead acid battery set.
**Note, If you have a Ryobi RM480e, it's a very different process and space requirements. The general recommendation appears to be this single battery.
Make sure to set the battery charger to 48v and 10a/8a.
Also: Rather than switching the charger head housing as I did, you can instead break the two plastic tabs inside the Ryobi's charging port, and then the new charger will slide right in with no rewiring required.
Battery balancers (if you have four batteries, I don't discuss this in the video)

Battery monitor if you want one.
A good cart to hold the heavy batteries so mower doesn't tip.
A decent Lithium Riding lawnmower (if you don't want to mess around with all this)
Why I like it:
I like this one because the batteries are easy to take out and replace
